Courteous & Professional.

The RMO Staff prides itself in being courteous, accessible and flexible in catering to our patients' needs. We take the time to carefully explain and guide people through the examination and whatever comes next, be it reassurance, a new pair of glasses, contact lenses, ocular exercises, dry eye/allergy management , referral or anything else.

We are a four-person team of three Dispensing Opticians and an Optometrist.

Meena Chickoree-Samlal

Dispensing Optician ABOC FNAO

Meena has been part of the RMO team since inception in April 2000.  She is the Practice Manager and is involved in all aspects of day to day running of the office.  She is personable, knowledgeable, kind, has a great sense of humour and is the “go-to person” for her ability to trouble shoot and multi-task.  She has an incredibly sharp memory for details (can recall a patient’s name even if they were seen once, ten years previously) which makes her our memory bank.

Mala joined us in October 2006. She is serious minded, measured, knowledgeable, and a great listener. She used to be a contact lens patient of ours long before (2000-2006) she joined the practice. Her quiet determination and team work keep us running smoothly.
